Delete Your Account

1. Overview

At Vephon AI, you have full control over your account and data. You can permanently delete your Vephon Studio account at any time directly from the mobile app. This page explains how to delete your account, what data is removed, and the timeline for data deletion.

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

2. How to Delete Your Account from the App

Follow these steps to delete your account from the Vephon Studio mobile app:

  1. Open the Vephon Studio app on your mobile device and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Settings. Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Open Account Details. Tap your profile card or the Account option to open the account details screen.
  4. Scroll to the Danger Zone. At the bottom of the Account screen, you will find a section labeled “Danger Zone.”
  5. Tap “Delete Account.” Tap the red Delete Account button.
  6. Confirm deletion. A confirmation dialog will appear warning you that this action cannot be undone. Tap “Delete” to confirm, or “Cancel” to go back.
  7. Account deleted. Your account will be deleted and you will be signed out of the app automatically.

3. What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account information: Your email address, display name, profile picture, and account settings.
  • AI personas: All AI personas you have created, including their display names, appearance descriptions, reference images, and asset tags.
  • Generated content: All AI-generated images, audio, captions, posts, and associated metadata stored in your gallery.
  • Voice data: All voice clones, reference audio recordings, transcripts, and voice embeddings.
  • Subscription and credits: Your subscription status and remaining credit balance. Unused credits are forfeited and are not refundable.
  • Content generation history: All records of content generation jobs and their outputs.
  • Local app data: Authentication tokens, cached data, and preferences stored on your device are cleared upon sign-out.

4. Data Retention After Deletion

After you delete your account:

  • Personal data is purged from our active systems within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Encrypted backups containing your data may persist for up to 30 additional days before automatic rotation removes them.
  • Payment and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial reporting laws. These records are limited to transaction amounts, dates, and order identifiers—they do not include your personal content or creations.
  • Audit logs referencing your account (e.g., account creation, deletion event) are retained for 2 years for security and compliance purposes. These logs contain only action metadata, not your personal content.

5. What Happens to Your Subscription

If you have an active paid subscription at the time of account deletion:

  • Your subscription will be cancelled immediately.
  • You will not be charged for any future billing periods.
  • Any remaining credits or unused subscription time will be forfeited and are not eligible for refund.
  • If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at connect@vephon.com before deleting your account.

6. Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to delete your account through the app (for example, if you cannot sign in), you may request account deletion by contacting us directly:

In your email, please include the email address associated with your account so we can locate and verify your identity. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

7. Before You Delete

Before deleting your account, you may want to:

  • Download your content: Save any generated images, audio, or other content you wish to keep. Once your account is deleted, this content cannot be recovered.
  • Cancel your subscription first: If you have an active subscription, consider cancelling it before deletion to avoid any billing confusion.
  • Review connected services: If you signed in using Google Sign-In, deleting your Vephon account does not affect your Google account. However, you may want to revoke Vephon’s access from your Google account permissions.
