Brand kits that actually apply: how Vephon weaves your identity into every generation

"Brand kit" is doing a lot of work in most tools

Open any AI design tool and you'll find a "brand kit" feature. It stores your logo, your colors, maybe your fonts. Then you generate something — and none of those things show up. Why? Because the brand kit is metadata. It's there. It just doesn't influence anything.

This is the gap we set out to close in Vephon 2.0.

What a brand kit means in Vephon

A Vephon brand kit is not a folder of assets. It's a contract for how your generations should look and sound. It has:

  • Visual identity — primary, secondary, accent, background, text colors. Heading and body fonts. Logo.
  • Brand voice — a free-text description ("warm, witty, never corporate"), tone words ("confident, playful, direct"), do-say and don't-say phrases.
  • Imagery rules — a global image style prompt (e.g. "muted earth tones, soft natural light, 35mm film grain") and a forbidden subjects list (e.g. "alcohol, competitor logos, weapons").
  • Voice clone id — link your ElevenLabs voice clone so narrations match your brand voice literally.

When a brand kit is marked default, Vephon silently weaves its directives into every orchestration request. The orchestrator (Claude Opus or Gemini Flash as fallback) is told:

Brand guidelines for this generation — apply silently, do not mention these rules in the output.

It then sees the colors, fonts, do/don't-say lists, and forbidden subjects. The image prompts, captions, hashtags, and alt text all honour those rules without any extra work from you.

Where you notice it

In two places:

  1. Captions sound like you. Without a brand kit, AI captions drift toward bland marketing-speak — "elevate your", "level up", "game-changer". With a kit that lists those as don't-say phrases, your captions read as your brand instead.
  2. Images stay on style. Image prompts include your style prompt (35mm film, muted earth tones, etc.) and avoid forbidden subjects. Across a 30-post calendar, this is the difference between "AI slop" and "a coherent feed".

Multiple brand kits per user

We support multiple kits per user — useful for freelancers, agencies, or anyone managing more than one brand. One can be default; the others can be activated per project as that capability rolls out.

Tone words matter more than you'd think

The single most underrated field is the tone-words list. Three to five short adjectives ("confident, playful, direct" or "thoughtful, warm, dry") will do more for caption consistency than any prompt engineering you can write.

Try it

Open Brand Hub in the sidebar. Create a kit. Mark it default. Generate one piece of content the way you normally would. You'll hear your voice in the result the way you don't with any tool we've shipped before.
